One Less Trip Contest
May 1 – September 30
Leave your car at home, log your trips using alternative transportation methods and you could win great prizes. Register online or call 937-277-4374.Then simply walk, bike, bus or carpool/vanpool instead of driving alone. Log your trips online or mail in the form and you’ll be entered to win monthly prizes and the grand prize – a $1,000 Visa gift card.
Bike to the Dragons

Hop on your bike with the family and head downtown to watch one of the most exciting sporting events in the region. The first 40 cyclists for each event to register on the Dragon’s Website and “Bike to the Dragons Game” will win a prize pack that includes custom Dragons cycling socks, water bottle, a reflective bag and more. Valet Bike Parking will be available for those who Bike to the Dragons. Bicycles must be claimed no later than 30 minutes after the last pitch.

The City of Dayton Department of Recreation and Youth Services will offer valet bike parking at Dave Hall Plaza as a new addition to the Drive Less Live More events in 2010. If you commute more than 25 miles one-way, you and a group of up to 14 people may be interested in leasing a van on a monthly basis. The MVRPC Rideshare Program has vans available for groups wanting to vanpool to work.
